The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) has been named to the 2024 Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100, a prestigious list recognizing the top 100 trade shows in the United States. This honor celebrates I/ITSEC’s scale, impact, and continued leadership within the global modeling, simulation, and training (MS&T) community.
Hosted by the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), I/ITSEC is the world’s largest event dedicated to training systems, simulation technologies, and educational solutions supporting military, government, and commercial applications. It serves a dynamic and cross-sector audience—including the U.S. Department of Defense, international military delegations, federal agencies, academia, and leading-edge technology companies.
“This recognition reinforces I/ITSEC’s role as a premier platform for innovation, collaboration, and readiness across defense and high-tech industries,” said Debbie Langelier, Senior Vice President, NTSA. “It’s a testament to the enduring importance of modeling and simulation in preparing our warfighters, strengthening partnerships, and accelerating innovation. We’re incredibly proud of the community that makes I/ITSEC what it is—mission-driven, future-focused, and impactful year after year.” I/ITSEC is more than just a trade show—it’s where the global MS&T community comes together to advance capability and readiness,” Langelier added. “We’re honored to be recognized among the top 100 and remain committed to delivering an event that pushes boundaries, fosters collaboration, and drives meaningful outcomes for our nation and its allies.”
Each year, I/ITSEC brings together more than 500 exhibitors and 17,000+ attendees. The weeklong conference features a robust program that includes peer-reviewed technical papers, senior-level keynote addresses, live technology demonstrations, professional development workshops, and the nation’s largest serious games and innovation competitions.
The TSE Gold 100 list is based on net square footage of paid exhibit space and honors events that drive measurable value through meaningful content, high-impact attendee engagement, and industry leadership. I/ITSEC’s inclusion reflects its continued growth and strategic relevance in an increasingly complex training and operational environment. The 2024 Gold 100 Awards & Summit will take place in October 2025, where this year’s honorees will be formally recognized among the most influential events in the nation.
