Your Commitment
Selection to a Subcommittee
Each person selected to serve on a program subcommittee has a
commitment to fulfill. As a subcommittee member, you are expected
to attend both the Abstract Review and Paper
Review meetings (as well as the Conference itself). You are
expected to plan ahead as much as possible for these meetings to
minimize absences. You are expected to be fully prepared when you
come to the meetings. That means you should have read and scored
all abstracts and papers, and be ready to discuss their content.
Abstract Scoring Form (A Scoring Form is autogenerated with each abstract. This one contains fields to complete from any computer.)
You are expected to participate actively in all discussions and
to volunteer for Bird Dog assignments and session assignments. As
a Bird Dog you are expected to actively assist the author of any
assigned paper(s) to successfully bring the paper from abstract
to presentation. Finally, you are encouraged to become members of
NTSA and to register for the Conference.

Chair Guidelines
Absences From Meetings
The I/ITSEC leadership recognizes that illness, business commitments,
and the like may, sometimes, take precedence over attendance at
Subcommittee Meetings. Your absence from a meeting may be excused
by your Subcommittee Chair. Be sure to notify the Subcommittee Chair
well in advance that you will not be able to attend a meeting. Send
your completed scoring sheets to the Subcommittee Chair prior to
the meeting so that your comments and opinions about each abstract/paper
can be reported along with the rest of the subcommittee.
