I/ITSEC MEDICAL ALERT
The future for modeling and simulation in medical education, training and care looks more certain every day, and I/ITSEC intends to be the place to share the science, applications and requirements that drive the clinical community of tomorrow. Through papers, tutorials and a medical Special Event, the I/ITSEC medical modeling and simulation footprint has doubled over the last few years.
This emerging community of practice is encouraging other scientists, clinicians, engineers and practitioners to write abstracts of your work for consideration as a tutorial session or a paper to be published and presented at the Annual Conference in late November, 2010. Of particular interest are topics related to virtual patient behaviors (avatars), trauma simulation, validation and efficacy, physiological and anatomy modeling and the use of simulation technologies in the continuum of care-such as VR therapy.
